Highlands Coffee is a decent stop if you're looking for a quick coffee break, but it felt very much like a standard coffee chain experience. The coffee and food were perfectly acceptable and the café was clean and comfortable enough to relax in for a while. Only the location of the coffee shop which is just beside the coast is something great. That said, nothing really stood out. There wasn't a signature drink, unique atmospherebor memorable flavor that made the visit particularly special. It delivers what you'd expect from a large coffee chain consistent, convenient and reliable.

Just checked in and the staff were very hospitable and the location is a short ~150 meters from the main strip and the beginning of the beach. Penthouse suite was very nice but the elevators take 60 seconds to go to the top.

The food and drinks at Vietnam’s version of Starbucks are fine, but the service was awful. The woman at the counter had zero sense of hospitality. Honestly, she’s the rudest person I’ve come across in Vietnam

beachfront location alone kinda saves it - tran phu strip packs 200+ eateries within walking distance so even if rooms feel a bit dated, those golden sunset balcony views still make up for it

Avoid this property. I booked this stay because it explicitly listed 'Breakfast Included.' Upon arrival/contact, the owner informed me that breakfast was NOT included and I would have to pay extra. Additionally, the owner demanded I pay for the room in cash, directly violating Agoda’s secure payment terms. When I disputed this misrepresentation, the owner messaged me on an external app (Zalo) and threatened to charge me 100% of the booking as a 'No-Show' fee despite the listing being incorrect. Very unprofessional and dishonest management. I had to secure other housing to feel safe and get what I paid for. Stay elsewhere.
