3 weeks in Saigon without a scooter — doable or a pain? 😅

Hi everyone! We're spending 3 weeks in HCMC — what's the easiest way to get around? Do we really need a scooter, or can we manage without one? What's public transport like?

We can both ride, but after dealing with traffic in Thailand, I'm a bit scarred lol 😅

There's public transport! If you're exploring the city centre, you can walk — lots of stuff is close together. For longer trips, just grab a taxi. You'll save yourself the stress.

Any recs on where to stay then? Ideally somewhere we won't have to travel far all the time, with food spots and things to see nearby. Not really into bars, clubs or partying.
