Is HCMC a good base for a few months while waiting out Da Nang's rainy season?

Hey guys! Thinking of moving over from Thailand and spending a few months in HCMC until the rainy season in Da Nang passes, then heading up there.

What's it like for a longer stay? Looking for decent condos, gyms, reliable internet, cafés, places to walk, a bit of nature and stuff to do.

Also open to Vung Tau or Mui Ne. Anyone spent a decent amount of time in these places?

If you like big, noisy cities, HCMC could work. It's a huge city, so the condos, gyms, cafés and other amenities are all there.

If you'd rather be somewhere quieter by the sea, have a look at Vung Tau. It's a coastal city with proper infrastructure and similar weather to HCMC. Worth considering imo.

Mui Ne feels more like a village stretched along one main road. Vung Tau is more of a proper city with the infrastructure to match. Depends what kind of everyday life you're after.
