Just landed in HCMC, where can we exchange cash without getting a terrible rate? 😅

Question

Guys, where can we exchange money at HCMC airport? Just landed, still in the immigration queue and using airport Wi-Fi rn.

Pedro · Answer

Change a little at the airport to cover the ride into town, then exchange the rest in the city for a better rate.

Got a SIM and exchanged some cash, but we're already running low. Haven't found anywhere to exchange more in HCMC yet. Heard paying in USD gets you a pretty bad rate too.

velvet_moon · Answer

Definitely exchange it for VND. Check the rate online first so you've got a rough idea of what to expect.

Got 25,130 VND per dollar at the airport. Staying in central HCMC but still haven't spotted an exchange place. Anyone got an actual location?
