Landing in HCMC at 1am, should we book a transfer or just Grab a ride?

Hey guys! We're landing in HCMC around 1am. Worth booking an airport transfer in advance, or is it easy enough to get a taxi that late?

Also, how long should we budget for immigration and baggage claim? Keep reading that things move pretty slowly 😅

Took us about an hour to get through everything, but loads of immigration desks were open. Could take longer if fewer are staffed at night. You can book a Grab when you get out. We had to cross the road outside the terminal to reach the pickup area.

Landed this afternoon and queued for about 40 mins at immigration 😊 It was pretty busy. Might be quieter at night.

Install Grab before you fly and book once you're outside. Took us roughly an hour from landing to leaving the airport with checked bags.
