Very busy international airport because most flights from and to Vietnam have to go through Hanoi city.

Allow a long transit time for the next flight to avoid missing your flight due to the rather complicated immigration process.

Clean modern airport.

Had some beef pho and Vietnamese coffee at one of the cafes on the first floor. The food wasn't too had but there are more dining options inside once you clear immigration. Prices are denominated in USD while on the outside it was in VND.
