Lancaster Legacy

I booked the two room apartment and got upgraded to a three room, which was very spacious. Room was very clean, however there was totally no utensils or equipment in the kitchenette, so it was basically a useless setup. I hope they would provide some pots, plates and utensils next time. In addition, the shower area had no racks to put anything, hence the shampoo and bath gel had to be placed on the floor. Breakfast spread was very good, all the hotel staff at the breakfast were very attentive and polite. Special thanks to Hoang min doc for remembering my name and greeting me every morning during breakfast. It makes my day start with a bright spot. Location wise, there are quite some eateries around the hotel, with some spa as well. There is a local morning market within 10 mins walk. Show more

We stayed here for 3 nights 4 days in Ho Chi Minh and it’s clean. However, they charge too much taxes upon check out which is 48% total plus 5% service charge. This is a serviced apartment in a not so nice location and the way to your room is like a maze. It has a very odd layout and the restaurant have limited menu for ala carte orders. The breakfast is quite good with a big spread to choose from and the staff are excellent. The receptionists though is another story. They had a hard time speaking English and check in was quite slow. If you arrive from a long trip, you will find it annoying so be warned. Show more

My stay at Lancaster Hotel was nothing short of exceptional.

After an unfortunate experience with another property, I arrived feeling completely disheartened. From the very moment I stepped into the hotel, I was met with a level of warmth and hospitality that instantly put me at ease. I was graciously welcomed and personally escorted to my room by Kahn, whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine warmth set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay.

What truly distinguishes this hotel is the consistency of its service. Every member of staff embodies attentiveness and sincerity, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and deeply personal. So impressed was I by the experience that I extended my stay by an additional two nights without hesitation.

A special mention as well to the restaurant team. Although I did not catch one gentleman’s name, his service was impeccable, along with Tan/Tian, who were both exemplary hosts.

It is rare to encounter such a seamless blend of elegance, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. The property itself is beautiful, but it is the people who truly elevate the experience, making every guest feel valued and exceptionally well cared for.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a stay defined by sophistication, warmth, and world-class service. My sincere thanks to the entire team at Lancaster for turning an unfortunate situation into a truly remarkable experience. Show more

We had a great stay here, however we never received our security bond back. Tried emailing the hotel about this and have not had a reply.

Left after 1 hour...awful grey room, hard bed, your not allowed to use kitchen !! Pokey bathroom, poor construction cheap everything...

My family of 4 with two little ones just had an amazing stay at Lancaster Legacy Hotel in District 1. This place is only 6 months old. Super modern, clean and spacious. We loved the pool and the breakfast. Infinity pool was gigantic! Breakfast had a nice variety, more so than other high end places we've stayed at. All staff members including security guys outside were very nice and helpful. One staff member that continuously went the extra mile for my family and stood out was bellman named Nguyen Nhoc Tai. This bellman was quick and in tune, always there to give my family a helping hand by promptly opening doors, moving luggage etc with a big smile. Bravo. Very friendly and accommodating service. They gave me some bonus vouchers for discounts on food. The room is very spacious but the hardware is a tier below 5 stars. Location is great. Lots of food, shopping nearby. Be careful of the hot water. It’s scalding hot. Try 1/3 hot then adjust up or down. Aircon was pretty good. The breakfast buffet is very solid. The hotel is in a prime location, with a 7-Eleven, an excellent pho restaurant, a superb ladies’ spa, and a very artistic café all nearby.The gym and swimming pool are well maintained and open until 10 PM, which is especially convenient for business travelers.Breakfast is also a highlight, featuring freshly made pho and bò né — a great way to start the day.Overall, considering all the features and convenience the hotel offers, the price is very competitive.
