I booked the two room apartment and got upgraded to a three room, which was very spacious. Room was very clean, however there was totally no utensils or equipment in the kitchenette, so it was basically a useless setup. I hope they would provide some pots, plates and utensils next time. In addition, the shower area had no racks to put anything, hence the shampoo and bath gel had to be placed on the floor. Breakfast spread was very good, all the hotel staff at the breakfast were very attentive and polite. Special thanks to Hoang min doc for remembering my name and greeting me every morning during breakfast. It makes my day start with a bright spot. Wir waren für vier Nächte hier. Das Zimmer war an sich gut und auch das Frühstück war akzeptabel. Leider hört das Positive damit schon fast auf.

Das größte Ärgernis waren jedoch die massiven Bauarbeiten direkt am Hotel. Jeden Morgen ging es bereits ab 7 Uhr mit erheblichem Lärm los – ohne jede Vorabinformation bei der Buchung oder beim Check-in. Wer einen erholsamen Aufenthalt erwartet, wird hier unsanft geweckt. Wir konnten zwar das Zimmer wechseln, am nächsten Morgen konnten wir die Bauarbeiten im Hotel aber immer noch wahr nehmen. Die schriftliche Frage nach Kompensation wurde nicht beantwortet. Wir erwarten von 5 Sterne Häusern schlichtweg einen besseren Service.

Die vorhandene Küche war nicht eingerichtet und daher nicht nutzbar.

Besonders kritisch finde ich zudem das Sicherheitskonzept der Zimmerzugänge. Die Zimmercodes folgten offensichtlich einem festen Muster, sodass sich die Codes anderer Zimmer sehr einfach erraten ließen. Für mich ist das ein ernstzunehmendes Sicherheitsrisiko, das in einem Hotel nichts zu suchen hat.

Zusätzlich wurde beim check in eine Kaution von 1.000.000 Dong verlangt. Das habe ich bei vergleichbaren Hotels bislang noch nie erlebt und halte es für unangemessen.

Insgesamt kann ich dieses Hotel aufgrund des Lärms, der Sicherheitsbedenken und der fragwürdigen Kautionsregelung leider nicht empfehlen. もっと見る

We stayed here for 3 nights 4 days in Ho Chi Minh and it’s clean. However, they charge too much taxes upon check out which is 48% total plus 5% service charge. This is a serviced apartment in a not so nice location and the way to your room is like a maze. It has a very odd layout and the restaurant have limited menu for ala carte orders. The breakfast is quite good with a big spread to choose from and the staff are excellent. The receptionists though is another story. They had a hard time speaking English and check in was quite slow. If you arrive from a long trip, you will find it annoying so be warned. もっと見る

My stay at Lancaster Hotel was nothing short of exceptional.

After an unfortunate experience with another property, I arrived feeling completely disheartened. From the very moment I stepped into the hotel, I was met with a level of warmth and hospitality that instantly put me at ease. I was graciously welcomed and personally escorted to my room by Kahn, whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine warmth set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay.

What truly distinguishes this hotel is the consistency of its service. Every member of staff embodies attentiveness and sincerity, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and deeply personal. So impressed was I by the experience that I extended my stay by an additional two nights without hesitation.

A special mention as well to the restaurant team. Although I did not catch one gentleman’s name, his service was impeccable, along with Tan/Tian, who were both exemplary hosts.

It is rare to encounter such a seamless blend of elegance, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. The property itself is beautiful, but it is the people who truly elevate the experience, making every guest feel valued and exceptionally well cared for.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a stay defined by sophistication, warmth, and world-class service. My sincere thanks to the entire team at Lancaster for turning an unfortunate situation into a truly remarkable experience. もっと見る

We had a great stay here, however we never received our security bond back. Tried emailing the hotel about this and have not had a reply.
