Is the Mekong Delta worth the trip? DIY or book a tour?

Hey guys! Would you recommend visiting the Mekong Delta? What did you think of it? Trying to decide whether to go ourselves or book a tour, so would love to hear how you did it.

Definitely recommend staying overnight in Can Tho so you've got time to explore the delta, check out the floating market and cruise through the canals.

I took a bus there and booked a guesthouse in the centre. There was a guide at the guesthouse who took us to the floating market and a local market after. She explained what everything was and we bought loads of stuff to try. Learned a lot about the culture from her too.
